AIDS Journeys is an amazing MSN support group for persons both living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
AIDS Journeys is a "Members" group meaning that you must apply to join this  support group. Keeping a support group to a "Members" status is what keeps a support group a safe and hate free zone. Unlike many online support groups that offer message boards and chat rooms, this group manages to keep hurtful people from being able to enter the sight and slam the members with hateful words and posts. AIDS Journeys offers message boards, chat rooms, a management team that cares deeply about it's members, and most of all, friends within the HIV/AIDS community from around the globe.
To join AIDS Journeys, click on the logo and apply for free membership. You must supply their management with a valid email address. Remember, this is a safe zone, and they work hard to make sure their community of members remains safe.

Margaret Cho's Official Site.
Margaret Cho is more than a comedian. She is an outstanding activist for Equality, Women's Rights, HIV/AIDS, Kicking right wingers in the balls and fighting for others that are looked down upon. Defiantly one one of my heroes in life. Her site comes highly recommended by myself.

“I have self-esteem, which is pretty amazing, because if you are a woman, or a person of color, if you are gay or lesbian or bisexual or transgendered, if you are a person of size, of intelligence, of integrity- then you are a minority in this world, and it’ll be really hard to find messages of self-love or support anywhere.

“For women and gay men especially, it’s all about how you have to look a certain way or else… you’re worthless. You know when you look in the mirror and think, “Oh, I’m so fat. I’m so old. I’m so ugly.”? That is not your authentic self speaking. That is billions upon billions of dollars of advertising-magazines, movies, billboards- all geared to make you feel shitty about yourselves so that you’ll take your hard-earned money and spend it at the mall on some turn-around cream that doesn’t turn around shit.

“When you don’t have self-esteem, you will hesitate before you do anything. You will hesitate to go for the job you really want. You will hesitate to ask for a raise. You will hesitate to defend yourself when you’re discriminated against because of your race, your sexuality, your size, your gender. You will hesitate to report a rape. You will hesitate to vote. You will hesitate to dream. For us, self esteem is truly an act of revolution.  “And our revolution is long overdue.”

-Margaret Cho, in a monologue from Notorious C.H.O.

When addressing the question of gay and lesbian soldiers on the warfront, she asked: "How dare they ask you to die for your country, but won't allow you to be who you are." Then, she added, "As if you could win a war without lesbians."
